rule of thirds

How does shooting your pictures with the "Rule of Thirds" in mind effect your finished product?
When you are trying to get natural framing or catch a subject that is shown to the viewers eye, that either increases or decreases subject on your focal point.

Was it more comfortable shooting your subject using the Rule of Thirds? Why or Why not?
Yes, because it made it easier to find subjects to shoot.

Choose you favorite picture of the three. Why does this photo stand out to you?
Photo 3 is my favorite, i like how the leaves an the arm are all separated into a silhouette .

it may look like a solid line but it is water as you know water isn't solid...
  2. This photo is a drain, the corrosion has a texture over the lines which the shadows make the the bright sources stand out...
  3. A hole in a tree can have line and texture, shadows and lights but at certain times of the day the sun will show you the true texture to nature...

texture post

  1. The natural contrast show the texture of the web and plant that you can't see just looking at it with your eyes.
  2. Carpet has line, never noticed that well as you can see it does.
  3. There are glares that shine on the cracker and bring out detail within the picture.
